Dr. Marnee Schneider is a Pediatric Clinical Neuropsychologist. A Pediatric Clinical Neuropsychologist combines Clinical Child Psychology and Neuropsychology to provide families with a comprehensive biopsychosocial model of treatment. The specialty of Clinical Child Psychology is one that integrates basic ideas of clinical psychology, developmental psychopathology, and principles of child and family development. Of particular importance to Dr. Schneider is an understanding of the basic psychological needs of children and the social contexts which influence child development and adjustment. A Pediatric Neuropsychologist assesses the underlying issues related to development, learning, socialization, and emotional development moving past the traditional psycho-educational assessment. Dr. Schneider is trained to work from both perspectives to provide her families with a comprehensive biopsychosocial model of treatment.
