Academic Skill Set  Assessment

The purpose of an academic skill set assessment is to obtain information regarding your child's level of early childhood mastery of pre-school skills. An academic skill set assessment includes the following: 1. A brief information sheet completed by the parent. 2. Dr. Schneider will use either a measure that provides information related to Early Academic and Language skills. 3. Your child's fine-motor skills will also be screened. 4. Following the administration of the tests, Dr. Schneider will score the results and provide feedback immediately. When coming for an academic skill set assessment appointment, approximately 30 minutes will be allotted. For best performance your child should be well-rested and has had breakfast or a snack.
